CfC Stanbic Bank partners with EatOut to reward foodies in Kenya

CfC Stanbic Bank has partnered with the award-winning restaurant discovery portal, EatOut, to launch the co-branded CfC Stanbic Yummy Card. The partnership will give CfC Stanbic Bank Visa card account holders access to exclusive offers, and up to 50% discount at participating restaurants across Nairobi.

“Dining out has become the leading leisure activity of choice among Nairobi’s burgeoning middle class. Our partnership with EatOut gives us the opportunity to reward our loyal customers with access to fantastic discounts and offers at Nairobi’s top restaurants” says CfC Stanbic Bank Cards Products Manager Clay Odour.

To enjoy access to offers, CfC Stanbic Bank Yummy Card holders simply need to present their card when paying with their CfC Stanbic Bank Visa debit or credit card. Over 75 restaurants – including About Thyme, Soko at Dusit d2, Jiko at Tribe Hotel and Zen Garden – participate in the Yummy Card program, with some offering discounts of up to 50% on certain days.

Speaking at the launch at Capital Club Nairobi on 17th August 2016, Michelle Slater, General Manager of EatOut Kenya, said “EatOut’s Yummy Card rewards foodies for dining out. Our partnership with CfC will allow more Kenyans to explore the wonderful restaurants in Nairobi. We hope to increase foot-fall at restaurants in the city, especially during off peak business days where traffic is low. We want to create a dining culture to rival London, New York and Cape Town. In these cities, restaurants often have mutliple seatings in one evening. We are delighted that CfC Stanbic customers will get the opportuity to explore more affordable dining experiences across the city!”
