Tribe 44Spring Valley Business Park, Block D, Spring Valley, Nairobi
Today l discovered Tribe 44 a small little restaurant at Spring Valley Business Park.My phone camera could be better if l hadn't crashed the screen so l didn't try to take pics for you (glad Eat Out has pics)
This one is a must do somewhere in the future with a friend who doesn't babble endlessly, or perhaps who does, else just go solo.
Ambience is so good, l had a cappuccino and cake..chocolate fudge, only for it to come with ice cream garnished with cream and cocoa powder, very delectable in sight and taste. I am not a coffee head but l kept inhaling my cappuccino as l brought it to my lips.
This was supposed to be a drive by.I came to my dentist and decided to walk around the business park to see what was there. The plan was to go home.I sat down for several hours and read a book l have been reading in my head since January.
It's great for people watching.Service was A1.Bring a sweater because it's British temperatures whilst it's Sub-Sahara outside. There isn't a patio to take in the Sun (insert sad face).
Yellows and greens and the illusion of wood and leather abounds.
Tribe 44 is a fantastic lil place so welcoming, has a great feel to it and beautiful ambience with friendly staff. I personally loved the menu that is a beautiful blend of Kenyan and Indian cuisine creating some unique flavors for people to try!
I was there for lunch with my husband this afternoon and Damn! That was one hell of a meal we enjoyed there. Every dish we ordered there from starters, main course, dessert and drinks! And the portion of the dish's are great as well without being too heavy on the pocket which is definitely a bonus!
It's a perfect place for meal out as well as if you just wanna do coffee!
Definitely a place to try out. I for one will surely be going back there again!
