Hadn't been for years and went for a leisurely Saturday lunch. How very American; you wait to be seated. No wonder though; tourists kept on coming in groups of 15 to 20 people and the menu prices reflect this clientele, they are ridiculously high. Service is good, but pushy. The food is on the bad side of mediocre and even though their salad comes in an attractive, edible bowl, it is just a mountain of lettuce with three thin slices of carrot, three slices of local cucumber and two strips of avocado, a disgrace at 600 bob. The setting is lovely and the complimentary bread was fresh with a good amount of butter, but all in all Tamambo is a tourist trap trap with so-so food.

Unfortunately, I did not get to try the food. It was greatly disappointing, it appears that they had overbooked, and the table set up was greatly lacking. The staff were not so friendly.
