Lovely Ambiance, Great Service, Amazing Food. Went there for my surprise birthday dinner, was lovely and the staff and manager very welcoming, made my day more special.

Hadn't been for years and went for a leisurely Saturday lunch. How very American; you wait to be seated. No wonder though; tourists kept on coming in groups of 15 to 20 people and the menu prices reflect this clientele, they are ridiculously high. Service is good, but pushy. The food is on the bad side of mediocre and even though their salad comes in an attractive, edible bowl, it is just a mountain of lettuce with three thin slices of carrot, three slices of local cucumber and two strips of avocado, a disgrace at 600 bob. The setting is lovely and the complimentary bread was fresh with a good amount of butter, but all in all Tamambo is a tourist trap trap with so-so food.

Unfortunately, I did not get to try the food. It was greatly disappointing, it appears that they had overbooked, and the table set up was greatly lacking. The staff were not so friendly.

Totally love their burgers and desserts. The service was a bit slow and ambiance is quite standard however their chefs give it their all.

I love the place. My friends and I enjoy the the sheesha, drinks and band. Great service! Especially from our favourite waiter Mwangi.

Honestly, service was crap and food took forever to be served. I ended up with a stomach upset as well. The ambiance is nice. Value for money given the bad service and tummy upset, close to none.

I loved the chicken wings and fries combo. That was tasty. The music was really good as well, the live band never disappoints. The drinks are also good, the mocktails and cocktails. However, the service needs to improve. The waiters seem old and abit tired.
