Safari Restaurant (Nairobi Safari Club)Lillian Towers, University Way, CBD, Nairobi
The food! With all due respect, i felt so much pain to part with my money. My chicken was burnt, smelling of smoke and frankly quite tasteless. Though I have to admit that the starters were pretty good...majorly enjoyed that. Dessert on the other hand (i am a dessert girl so this is a pretty big deal)...i was excited to try their tiramisu but most of it tasted like plastic i could barely eat half of it. No value for my money!!!! Quite sad. The only solace was the fact that we were not alone plus i really liked the piano tunes. Great ambiance but please look for more qualified chefs then just maybe i'd be happy to come back.
Great ambience, the guy one piano was on point. Starters was OK. The main course was terrible. Chicken was burnt and the pork bland. Don't let the tiramisu was like plastic. Please just don't try. Met another couple who were leaving at the same time, we had a laugh about how bad things were.
Their food is tantalizing ..... the ambiance is awesome the drinks are served within the minimum time possible you can never go wrong..... their staff are awesomely welcoming with a smile on their faces...AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Safari Club has a quaint feel to it, it still has the same vibe as when it opened back in the 60's or 70's. The food ranges in international cuisines so you'll probably find a dish on the menu for all palettes. Finally, the service at this restaurant has been great! The waiter was very attentive.
