Very good food and ambiance. The service is excellent too.
The service last weekend was just horrible. Saturday night, sitting in the dining section means you are forgotten. The waiters ignore you and a generally slow and inattentive. They just mill around looking busy. Several times we had to go give our orders at the main bar (there are no alternatives) and kept following up to ensure they were served at our table. Several complaints to the manager were ignored, and you get the sense that is why the staff continue acting the way they do. Several patrons next to us left as their orders weren't delivered. Funny thing is, when you ask for the bill, it's promptly delivered. Good thing is there are several other dining and entertainment options in the area.
To be honest, I only go to Que Pasa for their pizza.. my favorite one is the Meaty one! Their service isn't all that (I have been there a couple of times where I have had to walk out due to lack of service.. quite disappointing). The ambiance on the dinner side is good.. very intimate, but only for a short time before they start playing load music.
I enjoy most the bologneese spaghetti and their wines are also to die for. Service is great the manager makes rounds and often asks if clients are well served.
In a professionally run restaurant standards do not slip, whatever time or day of the week you visit. Sadly, Que Pasa has become complacent and staff is slow, blasé and ignorant. When ordering take-away pizza the girl needs Quattro Stagione spelled THREE times, jeez, this pizza IS on their menu!. Their current pizzas are awful and stick to the box, yuck. Even cheapo pizza-inn puts grease-proof paper under a pizza. What a shame to see a non-chain restaurant that used to be great slide down the hill.
