This is an establishment I will NEVER RETURN TO OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. When Picazzo first open it was good, I'd been there multiple times before and I never had a complaint. The 13th of July 2019 is a whole different story. It was a friends birthday and 10 of us went to Picazzo for lunch. We all ordered difficult things although 4 of us had Chicken Wraps and weren't impressed with the meal. The manager came to the table and asked for feedback, so we started with the good, then got to the bad which were the wraps, they just tasted off in our collective opinion. As we are telling him he insinuates that one of our friends, who was drinking Sparkling Water with limes might have been having a gin and tonic which could have made his food experience subpar. So we inform Michael, the manager that he isnt drinking and it is not polite to assume that he is because he did not like his meal. Michael now starts arguing and we arent there to argue with management. Anyway we just pay our bill to our sincerely lovely Waitress Wambui and leave. A little after I started to feel off, later in the evening when I got home I was getting sick every hour increasing to every half an hour. Talked to my mates and some said they felt unwell as well. The chicken wrap being the common denominator. Unfortunately rushed to hospital at 11am, had to get fluids and medication through an IV because I couldn't keep anything down. They take samples and get all the tests done. My results were surprising even to the doctor, her conclusion is I caught the H.Pylori bacteria from contaminated food. I've spent 20,000ksh getting treated and all I can think about is how mad I am that they could let any of this happen. I highly suggest they get a Health inspection.
I went to Picazzo during Burger Fest with my family. Our waiter was very slow, he got our orders wrong and my father disliked his burger.
NRW2017 The twist between Kenyan and Spanish cuisine was interesting but I feel a solid Spanish feel would have been better to experience the restaurants core dishes better.
We came because itwas nearby and Tapas and it's NRW. Wow!!! They served a kind of swahili coast fusion meal for NRW and we tried a few tapas as well. New favourite reataurant!!! Wish it was a little cheaper for the tapas so we could come much more frequently!
The eal presentation is awesome, however it takes time to be attended to.
