In the top 3! We eat at this restaurant or order take away at least once a week. Service never disappoints, waiters are outstanding and know the menu to a T. Take away food is packed properly and comes with chutneys. Ambiance is soothing and dishes are presented beautifully in a copper karahi, kept hot on tealight holders. Plates get to the table piping hot and super clean. I agree with Catherine - staff turnover is minimal, but they rotate chefs, so it's obvious when the chef who is heavy handed with cumin and carraway is in again. Just one grumble; make your prices INCLUSIVE of VAT [16%] and catering levy [2%l] it's soooo much more transparent and honest !!
I love the BBQ Malai chicken you should all try. If your love gravy food try out the Makhani chicken and Jeera chicken. The waiters are good.
A very good place for Indian food in Karen. I liked it.
I work right next door to this place so I have eaten here quite a bit, needless to say the staff know me very well. I must also say, for the four years I have been coming here, the staff have remained the same, I think it speaks to the quality of a restaurant and its management when they have such a low staff turnover! The food quality has also never wavered. The manager Fred is one of my absolute favorite restaurant managers in Nairobi! He is so great at menu suggestions, checking to see that patrons are getting their orders on time and to their specifications. He is also extremely patient and friendly. I planned a birthday lunch for my dad here a while back and they gave us a complimentary ice-cream cake with his name on it! I also bought my boss lunch here last year and they gave him a complimentary bottle of Whiskey after the lunch. Honestly, service, food, ambiance, 110% I would recommend this restaurant any day!!! Top notch!
This has to be my most fav Indian Restraunt. The staff is great, Food is amazing, They gave us a wonderful spot overlooking the road which had so many lights at night so it was perfect. GREAT EXPERIENCE
