Mayura KarenLower Ground Floor, Karen - The Hub, Nairobi
Went on a weekend, the place is quite beautiful. Sat on the outside with a good view of the park.Had the mutton and chicken curry with Naan. The meat was soft, tasty and the portion was too much for two people to finish.Had it wrapped for take away. The cocktails were fantastic! A good place to have dinner too.Our waiter was well versed with the menu and helped us decide on our food choice.
the Indian food was excellent though the nan was a little too oily. The cocktails were really good. The ambiance was beautiful with the perfect view of the park at the Hub. We loved the service though the waiters and waitresses should be well versed with the menu (enough to explain how a particular meal is made). Overall, my friend and I enjoyed ourselves.
I had a great time with friends. Excellent service. Ambiance was great. The Chicken Tandoori is definitely my top choice though the portions were smaller compared to other restaurants. Also sampled their chicken tikka masala and naan which was a sumptuous meal. A good experience
Excellent food and even better service. Totally recommend it. Keep up the standards
I came here for take away dinner. The restaurant was decently full. The ambience and setting is really great and cozy. The service was good, as we assisted to in a timely manner. The food didn't take too long either. Once you're inside you can peep into the back to see what goes on in the kitchen, which is an interesting touch to enjoy your dining experience. I got the tandoori chicken with naan, which was barbequed nicely, but the flavour was somehow lacking. The naan wasn't the best either, a little hard to my liking, but not bad enough that I won't try them again.
