MandhariNairobi Serena Hotel, Kenyatta Ave, CBD, Nairobi
This was the top restaurant I wanted to visit NRW 2018. It had been on my list for 2 years now and I am glad I did. The service was a straight 10. A lot of establishments can learn from the excellent service usually rendered by hotels.
The food was really good, from the pre-starter to the coffee and macaroons after the dessert. Plus it was very filling. Fine dining restaurants are not usually known for their portions but the beef I had left me quite stuffed.
I have to speak specifically about the cheesecake though. Someone tell the baker that when I get married, that cheesecake must be served as my wedding cake. That's how good it was.
Officially my favorite restaurant in Nairobi.
I went there for a date and everything was astonishingly good. My friend and I were in awe of the ambiance and attention to detail. I had delicious duck and couldn't have been happier with my choice. The wait staff were very pleasant. I will definitely be going back.
The free macaroon treats on our way out caught us off guard hehe
Service was a delight, almost choreographed thanks to Mr. Stephen. Loved the fish and the little ?turkish delights ?halwa with the coffee.
One word I would describe this restaurant - fabulous The quality of food the customer service wow wow wow Would recommend this place anytime
This is one of the best rest's in East Africa. Great ambience, service & food. Great for a special occasion (as it is expensive), anniversary or to impress a date. Clement the manager and his team go the extra mile to please. I loved the salad that they make in front of you in a copper bowl and flambe dessert.
