The food is great, the fish especially and the chilli from hell is to die for. The plantains are the bomb. Take care of the chill in the evenings.
I love the concept, but the service execution is a fail.I visited the restaurant on a Sunday, and there was a birthday party or sorts....And service was poor.Very poor!I hope they can improve on service.Whether the person serving me is a casual worker or a permanent employee, good service is KEY!
Totally enjoyed the goat pepper soup and plantain. The egusi soup was a miss for me but that's probably I love egusi prepared the Nigerian way. The servings were ample.
Ambiance was great, service was a bit slow.
The restaurant itself was nice but the food the day I visited was very bland. The jollof rice was made using parboiled rice and it had a fried fly in it. The catfish soup had no flavour. The day I visited they had a large private party so nothing else was available on the menu, better preparation needed to cater for the other customers is needed if you're having an event.
Nice restaurant, the plantain was good, as close to West Africa so far that I have tasted. We enjoyed it.
