Khazana RestaurantThe Village Market Food Court, Gigiri, Nairobi
Food is awesome. Concept of rice/naan with main course is good. Tandoori chicken is yummy. Value for money.
At Khazana, one of the many restaurants at the Village Market food court, I met a reasonably wide Indian cuisine offering.
On two separate occasions I got to sample a taste of their vegetarian offering by having Bharwan Aloo, - a dish of stuffed Potatoes served in a spicy gravy with Naan, and Sagee Kebab...a vegetarian kebab..made of spinach and potates....but nicely served with Naan.
On both occassions I loved the meal, although the sagee kebab was on the dry side, but still it made for some tasty eating.
WIth each priced at Ksh. 750, I found this to be super value for money.
My only complaint is the service which perhaps due to the nature of the food court, tends to be quite haphazard. On my first visit, the service was superb, on the second visit, beyond pathetic with my meal taking over 30 mins to appear.
All in all, even such service could not dissuade my partner and I from enjoying our meal.
