Went for burger week on day 2 of the event for Saturday lunch. Being a huge fan of their burgers we were excited to take advantage of the deal. Problem is, that the burgers during this promotion are half the size of their regular burgers. The regular burgers are so huge i never finish one in one sitting with fries. So basically burgerfest means i get a mini version of the burger. Beats the purpose ends up living you disappointed as the portion size of the burger and fries is underwhelming. Was disappointed with the burgerfest experience. But their food is always great!!!!
If I could give zero star I would. Bad service, the food was below average. The waiter didn’t seem to know her way around and the rules. Worst experience I’ve had in a long time
Amazing Burgers and brownies to die for.
Service very average.
The food is good- loved the pork ribs and the burgers. Their cocktails are okay but the portions are smaller compared to other restaurants.
The ambience is okay-it tends towards the basic, which I think is what they were going for. The difficulty in the table set up is that they have several large tables and fewer smaller ones so, when the smaller tables get full, the possibility of sitting near strangers seems high.
Get's quite full on Thursday night so that's the worst time to go if you are just there for the food. Sunday lunch is a good time.
The service is average- waiters simply take your order and bring the bill, not much in terms of recommendations or checking on you.
The ambiance at J's is so different from what you get in Nairobi. The staff is welcoming and attentive considering how packed the place can get in the evening. Their burgers are to die for and their drinks are not only well presented but also delicious, especially their cocktails. The music can keep you there for house, the Dj's and live music is an experience like no other. I'm hoping there website will be up soon, allowing people to have a preview of what J's is like.
