Java House Aga Khan WalkReinsurance Plaza , Aga Khan Walk, CBD, Nairobi
Had the mexican beans and refried rice. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
I like that there is a Java almost everywhere I go now especially this one as I can dash in as I pick a bus or meet someone at Kenya Cinema
Let's just say that I was among the very few people who rejoiced after Walkers closed shop...there were times I would just sit there (better than standing at the bustling Afya Centre hehe) and wait for my "african timing" friends since the service was terrible! I once got a waitstaff to look my way after 30min!
Anyway...thank you JAVA! The location was well-thought-out since getting a decent restaurant in the CBD can be a daunting task. I love everything about it. Service is fast & wonderful since the waitresses are friendly and take time to understand your order because we all know how annoying it is to repeat your order severally. The food and ambiance is lovely! Definitely value for money! My go-to date venue (day or night)...
I had breakfast here today and I wasn't disappointed. The ambience was great, the waitress who served me (didn't get the name) was so fast and efficient. I didn't have so much time cause I had to get to work, I got my meal in 15 mins. I had fried eggs and toasted bread with double house coffee. Oh my!!! It was really delicious and worth every shilling. The quantity is awesome too. I have officially found my new breakfast joint
