The worst restaurant ever!! Asked for paneer makhni and got chicken instead!!! I'm a vegetarian!! If you're a vegetarian please don't come to this shitty restaurant. The manager Mr Suman doesn't even feel sorry about it
As I walked up to the poorly lit, non descript entrance to this mini mall, the aromas from the first floor promised something truly authentic. Haandi delivered some of the best Indian cuisine I have had in all my travels. definitely a must visit for travellers who love indian cuisine however it takes long for food to come but worth the wait
A worth-it experience. The food is great and you can request different levels of spice to suit you, the service was warm and fast and the portions are good value for your money.
Was there yesterday and choice it due to the high rating it got in Eatout and Tripadvisor sites. The service, ambiance and food were indeed good. Though the only thing I didn't like was Haandi's value for money. The food is over priced in relation to the portion on servings I received and amount I paid, I feel I should have left there stuffed but didn't. Its ridiculous my starter of fish fingers to cost almost the same as the main meal. The salads also didn't look fresh they look withered.
I like the food at Haandi. Maybe because I am an Indian that loves Indian cuisine; I am too critical. However, the food is not bad- its nice. The ambiance is good. I went with my whole family which was good. We were almost 20 and were well accommodated so I liked that. However, I just felt like the value of money and food did not meet expectations at all. I mean I want to pay that much and leave feeling satisfied to the least if not stuffed. I loved the Haandi in Kampala though. Great value of money, great service and food to die for! The same cannot be said about the Nairobi branch.
