I absolutely loved it. At first I was skeptical, but it was worth every penny and then some. I recommend the noodles. Any would be fine, tempura udon was my favorite. The broth on there noodles kills me every time. Perfect for the cold season.
Good Food and great service. The concept is good aswell
I called in on Saturday and made a reservation for 9pm with the intention of experiencing the food train. The manager who took the order gave no indication that the food train closes at 9 and the restaurant closes at 10. Needless to say we were pretty irritated as we could have gone to an alternative as the kitchen staff rushed our starters and main orders and left, we never got a chance to order dessert as they had left. Furthermore, had they told us they intend to have the lights off by midnight on a Saturday night we could have gone elsewhere as we felt rushed, the waiter stood by our table anxiously awaiting then went and changed into his home gear and hovered around. PLEASE LET PEOPLE KNOW YOUR CLOSING TIME WHEN TAKING LATE ORDERS. 11.30 Is early for a Saturday night especially when you take a 9pm order and no advance notice. The food was ok nothing to write home about. Though the steak roll stood out. I noticed today (3 days later) upon looking at our etr receipt that we were charged for a pricier wine and i actually confirmed we drank a completely different wine than is on the bill by looking at the pictures taken that night. So i guess look through bill and confirm the brands you order :( Have never encountered such a thing. The saving grace was the waiter Robert O who was previously at Zen. He let us use a teppanyaki table even though we were ordering from the a la carte menu which made it a more intimate setting for our party of 6. He was also hilarious and made my dad's night. Bless you Robert. I shall however be back to try the food train and hopefully get Robert to wait on us again.
