The food was excellent, and it didn't take long to prepare even if we were a slightly large dinner party (8 people). Their service was lovely and helpful. I highly recommend it!
Delicious food, GREAT service, nice ambience (with a cosy interior). The food was well prepared and of a reasonable portion making it quite affordable - pocket friendly prices. I loved that our waiter was well versed with the menu. His recommendations were pretty good. The service was great in that the waiters were always aware of the customers' needs and constantly on the lookout - always paying attention. Overall, I loved everything about the Clay Oven. And given it's location (very convenient), I'll definitely be going back. Thanks for the voucher too! :-)
SUPERB SUPERB SUPERB good food with excellent service would highly recommend anyone.
THIS RESTAURANT OFFERS THE BEST DECO AND WORLD CLASS VIEW..... delicious foo staff never disappoint. i would recommend it to any one.
The furnishing is pretty basic, but it could be worse - it still reminds me of Iguana! The service was great, I recognized a lot of the staff from Anghiti so they were already well trained on Indian cuisine and able to answer our questions on the dishes coming out. For starters we were served Masala Pappadums, Chilli Paneer, Tangri Kebabs and Vegetable Rolls. Pappadums, Tangri Kebabs and Vegetable Rolls were all cooked very well and tasty, Chilli Paneer could have been a little less heavy handed on the black pepper! There was Mixed Vegetable Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala (the standard English curry), Butter Paneer Masala and Mutton Roganjosh accompanied by a selection of Naans (Buttered, Garlic and Methi) and rice for mains. My favourite out of those was the Butter Paneer Masala - soft and creamy, the chicken could have been more tender and the roganjosh more spicy. Dessert was sweet smooth Kulfi, perfect ending to an Indian meal. You can read my full review here: http://wp.me/p4oaoj-8U
