Good food in a nice ambiance makes for a pleasant dining experience. The quality and service are on par with the Misono in Nairobi, which is commendable for management. Definitely a good place for an unhurried lunch any time of the week.

I must say good value for whats on offer. I sat with some friends at the grill and had a variety from the calamari, chicken and beef bits.. the variety in the choices were quite good for my friends who are not big on seafood.. the ambiance and the whole experience was absolutely lovely. I would recommend this restaurant to sea food, sushi and novice sea food eaters.. enough food choices to share around the table!

The food is good. All the different sushi I have tried have been great. Didn't like the prawn tempura.

I recently visited Misono, I had ordered the sushi boat. Basically it's a huge boat with all kinds of sushi inside it, on the side you get some wasabi and ginger to refresh your taste buds. Alongside it I ordered tempura prawns and steamed rice with soy sauce on the side.

This was an amazing experience the sushi was perfect, the tempura prawns were crispy and delightful to chew on. The service was slow but considering they had to prepare a whole boat of sushi I'll give them the benefit of doubt. However the value for money in this restaurant is ridiculously good! This Japanese restaurant is rich in culture and elegance, one must pay it a visit.

the live cooking thing done here, it's also the first place I ever ate Ostrich meat in, but I love the presentation of the courses :) there is no way you sit down for a full meal at Misono Restaurant and button up the same way, loved the avocado yorghut dressing! but seeing my food made infront of me is a plus, and I loved the old private room, but the new sitting is just as organically Japanese!
