Che Shale Restaurant is known on the Kenya coast for his fresh seafood, grilled meats, home made pasta dishes, tropical fruit platters, fresh-baked bread in safari style tin trunk, and other home-made specialties like seaweed in batter (picked up fresh from our beach), and spicy chilli jam.
You will find some of the following dishes on our menu this season: Zanzibar style calamari, grilled mixed seafood platter, crab and coconut soup, grilled lobsters, fresh catch of the day ceviche, various meat and seafood stir-fries, penne crab, spaghetti vongole, greek salad, passion fruit cream, coconut pudding, and many many more.
Our hotel guests staying full board order from our a-la-carte menu for lunch and from a 3-course set menu, which changes daily for dinner. Breakfast includes a selection of fruits, toasts, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereals and pancakes.
We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serve food throughout the day. We also offer a light snack menu with a selection of sandwiches for quick afternoon bites. Groups are welcome and advised to make an early reservation.
